Greetings everyone. My name is Chris Foltz. I live in Gainesville, Florida with my wife Jessica and daughter Ella. We enjoy exploring outdoors, playing board games, reading, and going to the beach. We also have two dogs, Pluto and Nova, that are always up for hiking on trails. Jessica and I moved here from South Florida for college and never left. Gainesville is a university town with a lot of culture, and is a great fit for us. I am a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Astronomy and minor in Physics. I have a passion for all things science and I’m an avid reader of science fiction. I have only been involved in education for a couple of years, but teaching has always been my aspiration. I am excited to be a part of the IVLA team and I look forward to contributing to each student’s success.
