Hi, my name is Lynda Wathen. I have lived in the same small Kentucky town ever since I was six months old. My two boys are Dean and Davis. Dean played college football for the University of Tennessee at Martin and is getting married in December 2015. Davis lives with me with the possibility of enrolling at Western Kentucky University for the Spring 2016 semester. I also have a dog whose name is Miranda. She is a three year old pit/beagle mix.
After working in the medical field for 16 years, I decided to go back to college and pursue a teaching degree. This year is my 15th year of teaching. My first eleven years I taught middle and high school math and science. I am currently going on my fourth year teaching all grades and all subjects as a Home Hospital teacher. I have also taught remedial math at a college for one year. While teaching, I also coached dance team for 11 years and cheerleading for 1 year.
I have been a certified fitness instructor since 1987. I was also a business owner of a fitness and tanning salon for four years. I have taught many different types of fitness classes and have been teaching ZUMBA for the past three years. WOO WOO!
