Salut! Hola! My name is Maria Ibanez and I am really happy to be part of IVLA. I teach French and Spanish at High School level and I am enjoying every moment of it! I completed my educational journey at Lipscomb University and Tennessee State University. I have a Master´s Degree in English with focus on Linguistics and I completed a teaching certification program to be fully accredited. I also have training in the IB program and love sharing my passion for languages with students. I have taught for about 15 years in Language Immersion environments and I currently teach for IVLA in a virtual one! I am currently located in Miami, FL and in my free time I love to be outdoors and do volunteer work. Helping children and the community is my main focus. I love diversity and I feel at home at IVLA!
