Hello,
As most of you are already keenly aware, the COVID-19 virus currently remains a dangerous threat to our families, our communities, and to the capacity of our healthcare system. Events and public gatherings all over the world are being postponed or cancelled in an effort to slow the spread of a virus that has proven to be a real threat to our most vulnerable populations.
All over the United States, public schools are choosing to close their doors for various amounts of time; disrupting student classes, childcare options, and school calendars. Thankfully, our work-from-home, online format allows our courses to continue uninterrupted and, ultimately, allows our students to continue working without the risks associated with social gatherings. Thankfully, it also allows our students to more easily follow the CDC recommendation of social distancing.
As always, IVLA will strive to remain flexible should you become ill and unable to continue working in your courses. Until then, we look forward to allowing all of our students the opportunity to continue working in their classes uninterrupted.
Please visit the CDC website (https://www.cdc.gov) for more information on prevention and transmission of the COVID-19 virus.
Sincerely,
IVLA Directors
