Everyone at IVLA is welcome to plan extracurricular activities with the guidance of their teacher or success coach. IVLA teachers also like to plan fun events that allow students to take a break from their studies, relax, and connect with other students.

Although it was an optional extracurricular event we had a total of 19 submissions from IVLA middle schoolers! We are so proud of our students who took on the challenge to express themselves in a creative way.
IVLA hosted our first annual Scary Story Contest to celebrate Halloween last year! Stories were judged on creativity, overall scariness, entertainment value, and readability. We received many frightening, spine-chilling, and hair-raising submissions from our imaginative students.
This year, IVLA's student government ran a spirit week for the whole school. Hobby day was a crowd favorite!
We received 18 incredible submissions for the middle school history fair. Our panel of judges included: teacher, Carin Jaramillo, and three National Honor Society students.
