Diploma Path 1 IVLA Students seeking a Path 1 diploma must complete a minimum of 16 credits in the listed subjects. This diploma features the minimum number of credits a student can earn in order to earn an accredited high school diploma with IVLA. Path 1 is designed for students whose plans do not include a four-year university. This diploma will allow students to find success in a community college, the workforce, a trade school, or a military career.
Diploma Path 2 IVLA's Path 2 diploma path is designed for students who want to pursue attendance at a four-year college or university following graduation. This path will set students up to meet the basic requirements of most universities and can be tailored to fit any specific requirements of students pursuing a specialized program or degree after high school. All students seeking NCAA eligibility can do so successfully on this path or path 3.
Diploma Path 3 IVLA's Path 3 is an honors-level diploma path designed for advanced students who are seeking a challenge in their studies. Path 3 requires students to take a minimum of 8 Honors or AP level courses and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students can take their honors level or AP courses in whatever subject area fits their skill level. **Note: Students CAN take honors or AP level courses on IVLA's other paths, even if not seeking this honors level diploma.
