English
One thing I would like to teach students is that the value and lessons we learn in the classroom (even the virtual classroom) directly correlate to life experiences. While evaluating figurative language or analyzing the purpose of a poem might not occur in an operating room or in a client meeting, high school is about learning critical thinking skills, asking for help, and communicating with peers and adults – even when it’s difficult. My goal is that my students can take the values and skills they learn in my classes and apply them to life outside of school.
