I want to teach students about how to explore a different culture than their own without bias and judgment. Learning about how people and their perspectives affect their culture is essential to understanding language to me; I hope to introduce students to cultural exploration and hopefully help them to build world connections. I love how IVLA gives students opportunities to see language in action and how culture is embedded in language. The students can learn a language and apply it in their travels or wherever their lives take them.
