For our Winter 2023 Service Project, IVLA's NHS is collaborating with the Puerto Rico Education Foundation to help students exclusively in Puerto Rico! Donate and spread the word to give students on the island the educational resources they need!
Hurricane Fiona battered parts of Puerto Rico's south and central mountain regions with more than 20 inches of rain - causing flash flooding, triggering mudslides, leaving the entire island without power, and even causing 25 tragic deaths. Much of the island remains inaccessible. Schools and homes were completely destroyed.
Puerto Rico Education Foundation is dedicated to providing resources for the strengthening, strategic innovation, and transformation of education in Puerto Rico.
