Earn High School Credits with the Credit by Exam Program!
Through IVLA, all high school students have the opportunity to earn credits by demonstrating their knowledge and skills through the Credit by Exam (CBE) program. Let’s dive into the details to see if this program is right for you!
💡 What is Credit by Exam (CBE)?
Credit by Exam (CBE) allows you to earn credits by taking a test that measures your understanding of a core course required for graduation. No need to complete the entire course—just show your competency through one exam!
🎓 Who Can Take a CBE?
- Eligibility: Any high school student who believes they can demonstrate course mastery, whether they are IVLA students or enrolled in a public school, is eligible.
- Exam Content: CBE exams are based on the learning objectives of each course.
- Passing Requirements: A passing score is 70% or higher. Remember, this program is available only for core courses, not for Honors or AP credits.
