We are thrilled to announce that the IVLA Alumni Association has launched!
Background
The IVLA Alumni Association was founded in the summer of 2022 by Sydney Fisher, with the help of IVLA Teacher Mrs. Herrera and fellow class of 2022 member Sahar Al Gabory. The goal of the organization is to connect IVLA graduates to each other and their former school while creating additional opportunities for alumni and students to succeed both in and out of school. Currently, the Alumni Association has around 30 members with graduation years ranging from 2018-2023.
Board Members
The IVLA Alumni Association board is composed of graduates and current students. At this time, our board is temporary, and we plan to have official appointments by spring with additional offices.

“I attended IVLA for two years and was involved in Art Club, NHS, Book Club, Newsletter Team, Student Government, and Puzzle Club, and was our class's graduation speaker. I am from Kansas and planning to pursue a career in architecture. I founded the alumni association in the hopes of helping IVLA students have a community to come back to after graduation, and I can't wait to continue developing and growing this community with our great team!“

Pre-Alumni Representatives
Pre-Alumni Representatives are current IVLA students who will be graduating in the next year or two. These are students who plan to join the Alumni Association upon their graduation and who will help coordinate efforts between alumni and students as well as help set up the foundations of the organization.

“Being very much a Swiss-army knife of a person, I almost always have my fingers in too many pies: stop-motion animator, humanist, up-and-coming music supervisor, possible editor, journalist, the pies go on and on!
As for the Alumni Association, I personally want it to be a database, clubhouse, and newly printed newsstand all wrapped into one! A place where new graduates get to share their stories and advice, a place for service projects galore, and a place to walk down memory lane to gaze upon how far you have come. “

How to Join
IVLA graduates can join the Alumni Association by filling out the membership form. Additionally, students who are planning to graduate from IVLA can fill out the form to pre-register to join the group when they graduate.
