Taya Ivanova - IVLA Graduate and Published Photographer

Meet Taya Ivanova, a recent IVLA graduate working towards a career in photography. Recently, Taya was featured in the national magazine, Digital Photographer.
"My self-portraits were recently published in Digital Photographer magazine, Issue 212. I've been taking photos since I was 12 and have always wanted to see my favourite photos featured in a major publication like Digital Photographer.
In the feature, they talk about the art of self-portraiture in an age of selfies and why it's important to fearlessly express yourself. They also mention a few of my portrait photography tips, like how to work with natural light even if you're not a pro.
When I first started taking photos, it took me years to upgrade my equipment. I've been using the same camera and lens for over 5 years. I want this feature to prove that you don't need to be rich or have access to every country in the world to take meaningful photos. All you need is passion and any camera you can get your hands on."
You can view more of Taya's photography work on her website.
